Eight Years of Earth-Science Education

Since the first Guangdong Middle-School Earth Science Contest in 2018, this event has grown year after year — from Guangdong to Guangdong–Hainan collaboration, from middle school to a primary division, and from a provincial event to a Greater Bay Area & National Invitational. The 2026 "Science+" Primary Division carries that legacy to a new generation.

Host

Guangdong Earth Science & Engineering Societies Alliance

The contest is co-hosted by an alliance of seven professional societies under the Guangdong Association for Science and Technology — spanning geology, geophysics, geotechnics, mineralogy & geochemistry, petroleum, geography, and oceanography — a strong foundation for its rigor, authority, and public-benefit nature.
